Wiki Research
As I looked through many of the options for a Web 2.0 Tool to use I thought many of them would be fun to work with. The image tools and photo tools are what really caught my eye because that is what I see myself using the most. It took me a while to get everything set up and I am still working out some kinks. I am working on linking the pages together and am having a bit of trouble doing so. Hopefully as I work more with the tools and learn more about them all of this will come easier to me.

On a personal note...
There is so much going on at school and with this class, but there is also so much going on right now in my personal life. My second child is due in 3 weeks and I am getting very anxious and excited, not to mention feeling very BIG. I have a 2 year old daughter and she is so cute when she talks about the new baby. We do not know if we are having a boy or a girl, but she is for sure she will have a baby sister:) I guess we will find out soon!

Prezi Presentation
This week I worked on my Prezi presentation. Prezi is something that I had never heard of before so I had to learn all about it. I think it is a very nice way to present different topics you might have. It gives people an option other then Power Point to use for a presentation. I think teachers could use this in their classrooms and I even think students could use Prezi in order to put their own presentations together.

Interesting Link - Geek Your Teaching
I looked through many of the links provided and I will have to say that I found "Geek Your Teaching" to be very interesting and informative. As I browsed through this site I found many ideas that I could use in my physical education setting. This is something that is not always easy to do with technology. A few examples of the way I could use some of the ideas follow.
1. Google Spreadsheet Forms - I can create tests for different units or have students research a certain health or physical education topic and use the form as a research collection site.
2. Animoto- Students can create and post video of them performing the steps of certain skills or performing a dance routine with their group...just to name a couple ideas.
3. Edublogs- This would be a great way to keep in touch with my students and parents. I would be able to communicate with parents by using a newsletter format and post pictures from class. Students would be able to respond to what is going on in class or share some of their ideas about certain units.
This site also provided a list of other teacher tools including 4teachers.org that includes helpful ways to create rubrics, quizzes and even notes that may need to go home with students. It also provided a "teacher toolbox" which included a list of ideas of how to incorporate technology in your curricular area.
I found many ideas that I am excited about trying with my classes. Now it is teaching myself how to use them so I can teach my students how to use them:)
