I looked through many of the links provided and I will have to say that I found "Geek Your Teaching" to be very interesting and informative. As I browsed through this site I found many ideas that I could use in my physical education setting. This is something that is not always easy to do with technology. A few examples of the way I could use some of the ideas follow.
1. Google Spreadsheet Forms - I can create tests for different units or have students research a certain health or physical education topic and use the form as a research collection site.
2. Animoto- Students can create and post video of them performing the steps of certain skills or performing a dance routine with their group...just to name a couple ideas.
3. Edublogs- This would be a great way to keep in touch with my students and parents. I would be able to communicate with parents by using a newsletter format and post pictures from class. Students would be able to respond to what is going on in class or share some of their ideas about certain units.
This site also provided a list of other teacher tools including 4teachers.org that includes helpful ways to create rubrics, quizzes and even notes that may need to go home with students. It also provided a "teacher toolbox" which included a list of ideas of how to incorporate technology in your curricular area.
I found many ideas that I am excited about trying with my classes. Now it is teaching myself how to use them so I can teach my students how to use them:)

Thanks for sharing what you found. I agree with your statement about teaching yourself how to use the information you have found. Never a dull minute when it comes to technology.
